Variable data
Variable Data Printing is one of the most significant advantages of digital printing. It allows for high-quality, on-demand printing in which selected elements may be changed from one printed item to the next, using information from a database or external file, without affecting the speed of the press.
Gone are the days when 'personalisation' meant adding a client's name into a blank space on a communication - with the end result looking like nothing more than an afterthought. Variable Data Printing enables the true mass customisation of documents. For example, a set of leaflets each with the same basic layout can include varying information per recipient, reflecting changes to colour, text or images - every customer is unique and can now receive a unique communication.
